The Claude PowerPoint Skill: Describe It, Get a Finished Deck
If you use Claude and want a real, finished PowerPoint — not bullet points on a white background — that's what a dedicated slide deck skill does. Here's how it works.
What a Claude PowerPoint skill does
It builds a real .pptx file for you. You describe what you're presenting and to whom; it picks the right narrative structure (an investor pitch is sequenced differently from a sales proposal), fills it with your content, and produces a clean deck with varied layouts, real charts, and speaker notes.
Why it doesn't look AI-generated
A generic prompt makes title-and-bullets slides with a random blue accent — the look everyone recognizes. The skill follows a design system that deliberately avoids those tells and uses purpose-built layouts, so the output looks like someone designed it.
What you do with it
You answer a few questions or paste your notes, and get a finished PowerPoint you can open, edit, and present — a strong draft you refine, instead of a blank slide.
